Hey guys! Sorry it’s been a while since my last post I’ve been a little too busy to sit down and write. But I thought today I would write a little first impression on some fragrance oils I got the other day. I only ordered three to try out this time. Hello! And happy Monday! Hope it was a great one for you all.
Today’s soap that I am sharing with you is my Luscious Lavender Soap❤ It is a pretty big soap. It took me about two hours to make but I am super happy with how it turned out. Continue reading “Adventures in Soaping”
So I made this amazing soap the other day and just want to show it to you!
I usually don’t make just plain Jane soaps, I like to add color and swirls and all sorts of stuff like that but I really wanted to make a soap that is just simple and natural so, here is this one. I actually had a lot of fun making this one too, I used poppy seeds just to make it look a little more interesting and to give it some texture. Here it is in the mold (I made me some pumpkin hand soaps since I had a little extra):
Me and the family recently went to Tallulah Gorge, its a beautiful mountain drop off by our house. My absolute favorite place❤
Yep, it’s that time of the year again where pumpkin EVERYTHING returns. Pumpkin coffee, pumpkin donuts, even pumpkin Cheerios. My favorite pumpkin items though are not edible, like Bath and Body Works pumpkin candles and body sprays. I have to say I did stock up on a lot of there stuff…I’m obsessed!
But to go along with the pumpkin everything trend, I went ahead and made a pumpkin soap, and it is made with the goodness of real pumpkin puree!
I’m Brooke. Welcome to my blog. This will be my very first blog post for the Lily Petals Blog and I am very excited to get this thing started! I created this blog to share my handmade soaps and other handmade bath goodies that I make. This will also be a place where I can share my crafty ideas and just random tidbits of my life! I hope you all enjoy and stay tuned for more. 🙂
